I had a boss who once left this comment in a very important proposal I had drafted: “You have these crazy spaces between sentences. Sometimes one, sometimes two, even three!!!” I’ll admit that I never once in my life considered the lowly space between sentences. But I learned to search and replace with just one space.
This trip is our attempt to pay attention to the details. To search and replace crazy spaces between cultures, languages, mothers and daughters, all of us with something a bit more sane.

Meg, thanks for sharing — great stories about a great trip! BTW, “crazyspacesbetween” is a wonderful creative title for a blog — that story reminds me of how the Cowboy Cafe in Arlington got its name. Namaste, Nick
Need to hear that story, Nick! Until next practice. (And good luck on the mountain!)
